pI-Switch: Engineering Environmentally Responsive Proteins

This project focuses on the computational design and engineering of proteins capable of structural metamorphosis or enhanced stability under varying pH environments. By utilizing rational design and molecular dynamics, we aim to create "smart" proteins that function as biological switches—activating or deactivating based on the acidity of the surrounding tissue—which is particularly valuable for targeting acidic tumor microenvironments or optimizing industrial enzymatic processes.
